We had to get asbestos testing for a remodel and our drywall came back positive. We had three rooms with drywall, but samples were only taken from one so we were going to have to all three abated. Ami swooped in and gave us great advice to help us lower our abatement costs. We followed his advice and after a little more testing we only ended up having to get 1 room abated. On top of that Ami just gave us great overall advice on how to handle what can be a stressful process. I wish we had skipped the process of getting other bids and had just gone with Ami. He's the most down to earth straightforward guy in the business.

After finding asbestos vinyl flooring during my renovation, Ami responded right away and gave me a free estimate. His team was able to start within a few days, and was done in a timely manner. Thanks to them, my renovations were only delayed a few days. Other companies never even bothered to call me back. Ami was very honest and tried his best to save me money by advising which area with asbestos didn't necessarily need to be abated, and gave me tips on how to cover it up, but we decided to get rid of everything since we're planning to live at our house for many years. Ami's team did an excellent job with attention to detail and left my house clean. It was easy to communicate with Ami through text or call the whole time. He is a very friendly person and easy to work with. After the job was done, Ami followed up to make sure everything met my high standards, and offered to correct anything I was unhappy about. Fortunately, his company also takes credit cards, which was very convenient for this emergency that caught us off guard. I would definitely recommend Ami and his team for honest and throughout work.

  I needed help with mold remediation and Ami called right away after I submitted a quote request. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions while walking me through how the process would play out, and when I had additional questions he was always happy to pick up the phone. The price was also reasonable. His crew came out the next day and did a thorough job of cleaning up the mold and kept the work area clean. I would highly recommend.

  First I would like to say that this review is long overdue. My saga began in September of 2021 when my wife and I decided to install vinyl flooring to replace our aging carpet.

Our home was built in 1971 so when the flooring contractor came to take measurements , it was found that there was asbestos tiles in our pantry and that this would need to be removed before installation of the flooring. I looked around for some remediators in the area and left messages on various voicemails.

Ami Azarkman from Haztek Environmental called minutes later and I explained my situation as it looked at that time. Rather than sell me on a full remediation job, he suggested ways place a barrier in this rather small area and simply not put flooring in that area since it was not visible unless you went into the pantry. Ami spent a great deal of time with me on the phone and answered all the questions I had at that time. What impressed me most was the fact that while he knew there was no money in this for him at this point, I never felt that he was rushing me and really took the time to help. As a business owner myself, I know time is money and wouldn't have blamed him for rushing me a bit...but that never happened.

Well, the saga continued as we found later that the entire bottom floor of our home completely covered in asbestos! So naturally, I called Ami back to have HazTek Environmental do the job. Ami came to our home and we really liked how relaxed he made us feel.

We truly felt we could trust this man and felt he had our best interest at heart. Of course, when you have to gut an entire floor of your home, your going to need other work done, as was our case as well. Ami let us know that he had a contractor he worked with that could work in tandem with his remediation crew. Given the level of trust we had built up to that point, we had no reason not to go with his contractor associate for the floor installation and all of the other things that need to get done after a remediation...and at what we feel was a very fair price to boot.

Ami, HazTek Environmental and his contractor made this rather involved job, go as smooth as silk and we are ecstatic about the workmanship in every part of the project.
